Iron Maiden Trooper Beer

So I went to Beverages and More last Sunday. Not being a religious man, Sunday is a "sacred" day for me. It's a "me" day for me, and exactly the kind of day I want to be buying liquor. While I was wandering around in BevMo, I saw this 4-pack of 16-oz cans of "Iron Maiden Trooper" beer. At first I thought, "Hmmm... Is that cool? I guess that's cool. I'll give it a try..."

Grandpa Rocks Out, Stunning Store Staff

Posted by our friends at the Society of Rock. Video of 81-year grandfather showing everyone how it was done when he was a young lad.

So, "rocks out" as a description is probably a bit strong, if only on two accounts:

1.) He's 81 and probably doesn't move so fast any more.
2.) When he was 18 in 1951, "Rocking out" probably meant something different

Since We Missed April Fools...

We missed April Fools' both because of the too cool news of Les Paul's old pickup winder being put back into service, and because of our work on the Amp Fix-up we'd done.

No more! We will be better prepared next year, we promise! Please enjoy this comic. We got it from one of the many "musician groups" we're a member of on Facebook. See you Monday!

Revolver Interviews Alexia and Anissa of Eyes Set To Kill

Of course, not every article has to be a heavy examination of gear or cultural activity. We also want to be cognizant of why we love and live this music. Because it brings us happiness.

So we also need to hit the lighter side of people and moments in the music business when we found a pretty cool interview in Revolver Magazine with Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez of Eyes Set To Kill. They share opinions on fellow musicians, their fans, and some of their day-to-day life experiences.
