So, "rocks out" as a description is probably a bit strong, if only on two accounts:

1.) He's 81 and probably doesn't move so fast any more.
2.) When he was 18 in 1951, "Rocking out" probably meant something different

However, it's pretty cool for an old guy to pick up a guitar, plug in, and shock store patrons and staff. As a previously successful musician, his family was in on the secret. This video gave us a smile. We thought it might give you a smile too.
