The Electro-Harmonix 22 Caliber is a 22-watt power amp in a pedal form factor. It is often used as a backup amp for those cases when a musician's usual low-wattage tube amp fails at a show and a back up must be used for "the show to go on".

  • Thermionic Studios has one (1) 22 Caliber available for rental

Bypass: No

The 22 Caliber is a power amp, not an effect. Buffer concerns regarding this piece of equipment are not meaningful.

General Information

Pedal Manual

Phase Inversion: N/A

Not Applicable. Since the 22 Caliber is a amplifier, and not an effect, the question of whether or not it inverts phase is perhaps a bit irrelevant. The only reason this would be a reasonable concern is if you happen to be splitting your instrument signal, using more than one amplifier, and that one amplifier inverts, and the other doesn't.

We are currently unaware of any artists actively using the 22 Caliber now, or who have in the past.
