Sunny-T Extreme
Fuzzdog also calls their Sunny-T Extreme "Total Sonic Destruction". Fuzzdog offers three different flavors of the "Sunny-T". They offer a model called simply the "Sunny-T" which offers, per the Fuzzdog website, "cranked Sunn Model T tones".
They also offer the "Fuzzpup" Sunny-T, which is a reworked PCB, intended to allow the builder to put a Sunny-T into a mini- or micro- enclosure.
We have the "Sunny-T Extreme". This one includes not just the distortion, but also the tone stack. Additionally, we have also sourced the necessary components to include the "custom AMZ tone stack" as opposed to the conventional "[BMP]" (Big Muff Pi) tone stack. The Sunny-T Extreme is true bypass.
General Information
The Sunny-T is really just a clone of the Earthquaker Devices Acapulco Gold pedal. The Acapulco Gold is set for unity gain, and only has a single knob on it for distortion.
As we have pointed out in the past, we only buy, build, and rent out clones or workalikes when we're not encroaching on someone else's business plan; we have the Sunny-T Extreme because we believe that the combination of the Sunn Model-T power amp distortion, plus a volume control, plus the enhanced AMZ tone control offers something that the folks at Earthquaker Devices don't have for sale, and that they never intended to offer for sale.
