Grunge
Digitech Grunge Distortion pedal. Despite being called the "Grunge", this is definitely more of a "heavy metal" sounding distortion. Many players have described it as inferior sounding; however we think it sounds very good. We believe that what may have caused an opinion of the pedal sounding bad comes from the two outputs. If you plug the mixer output into an amp, it will sound bad; conversely, if you plug the amp output of the pedal into a mixer, it will also sound bad.
We are of the opinion that when the proper output of the pedal is plugged into a corresponding device, that this distortion is very workable.
The Digitech Grunge is no longer being made.
Thermionic Studios has one (1) Digitech Grunge available for rental.
