The Boss RC-2 Loop Station Pedal, is Boss's original attempt at constructing a pedal that would allow a musician to either:

  • pre-record loops for subsequent performance playback, or
  • record loops during performance to allow the possibility of more extendable and extended "jam" session performances.

Subsequent Versions:

  • RC-3
  • RC-1

The Boss RC-2 is no longer being made.
