We have been assembling an inventory of Wah-wah enclosures not because we want to make a large variety of wah-wah sounds, but also because we have been entertaining the idea of putting as many guitar pedals into wah-enclosures as is reasonable and is feasible because we want to make a whole different range of sounds available by use of a treadled pedal.  So our goals are two-fold:

This is just some random "color" text that we found associated with wah-wah pedals. We wanted to keep it because of the reference to Jimi Hendrix's "Summer of Love Sessions" (1967) when he was learning how to use a wah-wah and the fact he used an Ampeg Reverberrocket amp:

SGVMusic History of the Wah-Wah "Very soon after, Frank (Zappa) showed it to Jimi Hendrix. In early July, Jimi went to Manny’s & bought one himself, also from the first batch in from Italy. Jimi was also finishing up his commitments and recordings for Ed Chalpin.

  • Crazy and cool sounding Wah-wahs
  • Enabling a whole new kind of crazy and cool sounding pedals using the same kind of foot-treadled mechanism

We want to help you make as many cool and un-copyable sounds as you can while you're practicing, performing, or recording.

The only PCB that we haven't found is a Flanger-effect PCB with a footprint small enough to fit inside a wah-wah enclosure. We think it would be so cool to be able to make a flanging effect that tracks the rocking of your foot on a pedal in the very same way a wah-wah sound tracks.

We will remain on the lookout for such a PCB. Who knows? Maybe we'll be inspired enough to make one if we can't find one...
