Digitech is a division of Harmon-Kardon in Salt Lake City, Utah.

It is the "newer" name of the one-time DOD guitar pedal company.

DOD gets its name from the guy who came up with the original pedals: David O. DiFrancesco. Good thing he wasn't vain, right?
